Very nice project, well done. I'd thought you planned it that way instead of fixing a crack.
nice idea. I've got a couple roughs that might be eventually fixed in this manner. Thanks.
Very inspiring to us neophytes!
the song, its an oldies… turn turn turn by; the Byrds
Great idea and video thanks for sharing.
The reason it cracked is that you left the base of the bowl way too thick when you allowed it to dry
even thickness of sides and bottom will help— like the first comment bottom WAY too thick..
Excellent video. You have some very nice equipment.
Awesome! Great fix!
Thats talent. Great work!
Great flexibility of mind in dealing with a problem! Good choice of music too!
great job and good idea
That's not a disc sander. It's a planet sander.
Beautiful Bowl Frank!!!
Very nice way to save a very nice bowl.
on all your vids where you use this sled, i thought you were free handing the bandsaw cut… but you were working smarter not harder well done sir
You are a legend
Walnut is such a beautiful wood. The finished bowl is lovely!
Blows my mind how much your technique and cinematography has improved and changed over the years. This feels like watching a cassette from the 80s. Beautiful bowl, but I love your current stuff so much more.
